I would like to take this time let you know about my planned retirement at the end of this year. As you might imagine, this is a very difficult decision as I have had the privilege of working at On With Life for more than 22 years and have had the opportunity to lead this amazing organization for 17 years.
It has been the highlight of my 44+ year working career to be part of such a mission-focused, caring organization which specializes in the unique and complex needs of individuals with brain injury and other neurological conditions. I have had the pleasure of leading On With Life’s expansion into a comprehensive continuum that now includes intensive inpatient, outpatient, independent evaluation, long-term skilled, home and community based, and independent living programs. Our leadership team and program staffs are the strongest they've ever been, and I have complete confidence in their ability to continue to carry out the mission of our founding families in future years.
The On With Life, Inc. board has retained a national executive search firm to help find my successor. In the meantime, On With Life will stay focused on our ongoing priority to provide and expand the excellent services for which we are known.
Persons served, families and staff recognized Julie for her compassion, passion and advocacy for persons living with brain injury.
