401k Retirement Savings Plan
All employees are encouraged to participate in this tax-deferred savings plan. Eligibility to contribute to your own savings plan follows the 90-day Introductory Period. On With Life may contribute a discretionary amount following completion of one year of employment during which the employee works at least 1,000 hours. This contribution follows a vesting schedule.
Full-time employees and family members have a choice of four health plans through Wellmark Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Iowa effective the first of the month following 30 days of employment.
Full-time employees and family members are eligible to enroll in the group plan offered through Delta Dental of Iowa effective the first of the month following 30 days of employment. Vision discount benefits are included as a part of this plan.
Paid Time Off (PTO)
Full and part-time employees accrue PTO on each hour paid. PTO is available after the 90-day introductory period has been successfully completed. An employee who averages 40 hours per week will earn approximately 116 hours, or 14.5 eight-hour days, of PTO during their first year of employment.
On With Life pays for term life insurance for all full-time employees in an amount equal to two times annual base salary. This benefit is effective the first of the month following three months of employment.
Flexible Spending Accounts
Full-time employees may elect to bank pre-tax dollars to pay for medical expenses not covered by the health plan and/or dependent care expenses. Employees are eligible to participate the first of the month following three months of employment.
Long Term Disability Insurance
On With Life pays for this coverage for full-time employees. This benefit is effective the first of the month following three months of employment.
Eligibility for paid holidays begins after successful completion of the 90-day introductory period. Full-time employees are paid 8 hours, and part-time employees are paid 4 hours for the following U.S. holidays: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and the day after, and Christmas Day. Employees who wish to celebrate other cultural holidays must discuss with their supervisor.
Paid Medical Leave (PML)
Full and part-time employees accrue PML to be used for long-term illness/injury. PML is available after the 90-day introductory period has been successfully completed.
Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
All employees are eligible for benefits through this program. EAP provides benefits for counseling (individual or family), financial counseling, support for tobacco cessation, limited legal assistance, and much more.
Continuing Education and Tuition Assistance
