Coronavirus/COVID-19 Information from On With Life

The safety of our persons served is of the utmost importance to On With Life. Due to recommendations from our regulating entities and the increase in cases of Coronavirus (COVID-19) in Iowa, On With Life has decided to restrict all visitors. Only staff or medically necessary personnel will be allowed to enter our buildings. Please know we understand how hard this will be on families, but due to CMS regulations and person served safety, it is required at this time to prevent exposure to our very medically fragile population and the staff that care for them at On With Life.

As of 8 p.m. on Thursday, March 12 we are no longer able to allow any visitors into our Inpatient programs in Ankeny and Glenwood and have updated guidelines for Outpatient and Supported Community Living programs. This means family members, friends, volunteers and vendors will not be allowed in our facilities.

Below we have outlined what these new guidelines look like for each program. Family involvement has always been a guiding principle of On With Life and we will do everything we can to maintain family involvement as restrictions are implemented.

Please note that all wellness programming and support groups have been cancelled for the foreseeable future.

Visitor Restrictions and FAQ by Program

We will continue to update our persons served and family members by email and through our dedicated Coronavirus webpage.
