Join us for the 19th Annual On With Life Neuro Rehabilitation Conference! Intended for healthcare providers, the On With Life Conference brings together experts from around the United States to discuss recent trends in the field of brain injury rehabilitation.

Neuro Rehabilitation Conference Registration – $75 (by August 24, $85 after August 24). 

Additional CEU Fees: Nursing – $10 |  Case Management – $10

Registration includes a certificate of attendance that can be submitted for various licensing and certification requirements. Price includes continental breakfast, lunch and snacks. Registration is required. Full refunds will be available by emailing info@onwithlife.org through September 7. Attendance limited to 250 participants.

Continuing Education

Nurses: This program has been submitted for approval by DMACC, Iowa Board of Nursing #22, for approval of 6.25 contact hours.

Case Managers: This program has been submitted for approval to The Commission for Case Manager Certification to provide continuing education credit to CCM® board certified case managers for 6.25 contact hours.

All attendees will be given certificates of attendance to submit to their respective licensing/certification programs for 6.25 contact hours. Certificates of attendance will be sent electronically following the conference.

On With Life Concussion Symposium –
Thursday, September 12

Special pre-conference event prior to On With Life’s annual Neuro Rehabilitation Fall Conference

Join the experts at On With Life and nationally recognized concussion expert from the University at Buffalo, Dr. Barry Willer, as we discuss the latest in the assessment, treatment and management of concussion.

The workshop will cover the medical management of concussion, development of a treatment plan utilizing a transdisciplinary approach, the assessment and differential diagnosis of post-concussive disorders, the treatment of comorbidities such as cervical, oculomotor, or vestibular conditions, and decision criteria for return to play, learn and work, and the latest research on the long-term consequences of concussion. The workshop is designed to be interactive in nature with the use of case study examples.

Audience: The Concussion Symposium has been designed for anyone with an interest in the assessment, treatment and management of concussion, including general practitioners, sports medicine providers, case managers, therapists, trainers and coaches.

Presenters

Dr. Barry Willer, University at Buffalo, New York

Dr. Willer is currently a Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at State University of New York at Buffalo. He has spent more than 30 years studying brain injury and along with his colleague, Dr. John Leddy, has been a leader in the treatment and research of the physiological aspects of concussion. Their research has been the primary motivation for proactive approaches in the treatment of concussion and post-concussion syndrome. Dr. Willer’s team has conducted internationally published research in the areas of active rehabilitation and exercise following a concussion, guidelines on the return to play and the use of evidence-based protocols for the assessment and treatment of concussion.
