On With Life received two major gifts to On With Life’s Giant Strides campaign. The David J. Noble Foundation donated $500,000 towards the Functional Gym and Prairie Meadows donated $275,000 through its Legacy Grants program.
“We’re grateful to these two wonderful organizations for their generosity of our project,” said Jean Shelton, Chief Executive Officer at On With Life. “This expansion will bring additional opportunities to On With Life and those we serve and set On With Life apart as a leader in neuro rehabilitation.”
The On With Life Foundation launched the Giant Strides campaign in September to fund the expansion and renovation project that will expand On With Life’s footprint and enhance programming. The project includes expanding the outpatient program with a new 20,000+ square foot building on the current Ankeny campus, improving the experience for those in the inpatient program by updating person served rooms, enhancing family housing to allow families to stay near their loved ones during their time at On With Life, and enhance technology and equipment to benefit all On With Life’s programs.
“On With Life continues to have a true commitment to education, research and providing exceptional care. The Noble Foundation is proud to be able to help support such a wonderful organization,” said Cindy Noble of the David J. Noble Foundation. This is their first gift to the organization.
Thanks to generous donors, more than $4.5 million has been raised of the $5 million goal, including the leading gift of $1 million from Herman and LaDonna Meinders.
Work has started on the expansion and renovation project, with a targeted completion date of May 2023. To learn more or to support the Giant Strides campaign, visit onwithlife.org/giantstrides or call 515-289-9611.
