On With Life, a nationally recognized brain injury, stroke and neuro rehabilitation program based in Ankeny, Iowa, launched a new brand identity with new messaging and a redesigned website, logo and tagline.
Research and focus groups showed that the name On With Life successfully reflected the mission of the organization but that a limited number of community members truly understood the scope, expertise and national reputation of the organization. Rather than changing their name, which was named by a founding family member when he stated, “I just want to get on with life,” the brand will re-focus and highlight the organization’s commitment to innovation and technology while keeping the person-centered approach at the core.
“On With Life is a major player in the local and national rehabilitation industry and is known for our commitment to persons served and families,” said Jean Shelton, CEO. “Our goal is to elevate that awareness and highlight our expertise, innovation and research as well.”
The brand launch also includes the announcement of On With Life’s innovation centers. These specialized programs highlight On With Life’s expertise in the areas of brain injury, stroke, Parkinson’s disease, concussion and complex neuro, and the continuum of care includes inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation, long-term care, neuropsychological services and residential services.
The new logo and tagline showcase On With Life’s dedication to empowering the persons served, families and staff at On With Life to show what is possible. The new logo is an abstraction of the two hemispheres of the brain and represents optimism, hope, growth and progress. The new tagline, Small Steps. Giant Strides., signifies the organization’s commitment to celebrate every milestone – whether that is a small whisper that’s worth shouting about or a small movement of a finger that’s worth a big high five.
“Our brand is truly a reflection of the experience families have with us and will always include our unique approach to rehabilitation and a philosophy of care that solidifies our person-centered approach,” said Shelton. “We believe in the powerful impact of every interaction, and our persons served and their families will always be first.”
On With Life will begin a major marketing campaign to introduce its new brand in July, including the release of its new website: onwithlife.org.
