The On With Life Family House is located on our Ankeny campus and is a comfortable environment for family members of persons served as they support their loved one during the rehabilitation process. After three years of being closed, we are thrilled to share that the space will be available for families once again in the coming months! See below for details for how you can help support the refurbishing of the family house.
We understand that when a loved one sustains a brain injury, the entire family is affected. A five-bedroom family house is located on On With Life’s Ankeny campus to be a comfortable environment for family members of persons served as they support their loved one during the rehabilitation process. The primary goal in making the family house available is to make life a little easier for families during a difficult time. Offered at no charge, On With Life subsidizes this benefit in light of its commitment to the vision of our founding families to “passionately serve and relentlessly advocate to create life-enriching opportunities for person impacted by brain injury.”
During the pandemic when visitor restrictions were in place, the family house was converted to office space to allow for more much-needed clinical space. Now that the new outpatient center is open, the family house will once again be available to families of persons served.
In order to help make the space ready for families, we are asking for assistance from the On With Life Family. Thank you for considering support through donating or volunteering!
