Did you know there are several benefits from singing for persons with Parkinson's disease? It strengthens breath support and swallowing muscles, and improves articulation. That's why On With Life is excited to bring you the newest addition to our Parkinson's programming - On With Life PD singers!
On With Life PD singers is an opportunity for persons with Parkinson's to come together for fun, socialization and the benefits of singing. This group will meet every other Friday over the course of 13 weeks (seven sessions total) from 11 - 11:45 am at On With Life's outpatient center in Ankeny. Cost to attend is $30.
The next round of PD Singers will take place every other Friday starting Friday, September 26 and ending Friday, December 19. The last session on December 19th will be a winter concert for loved ones to attend in the atrium of On With Life’s outpatient facility in Ankeny.
