Long-Term Skilled Care

When a traumatic brain injury occurs to someone in their youth, there are very few options for care that do not resemble a traditional nursing home setting. Realizing that this population typically has many years ahead of them, On With Life 40-bed Long-Term Skilled Care program is a unique solution for this population. 

Our facility is Iowa’s only skilled care program specifically designed for younger adults with brain injury or other neurological disorders and continuously focuses on both dignity and quality of life of the person served.

This unique program provides 24-hour skilled nursing care and variety of therapeutic interventions using an on-site therapy gym, pool, outdoor gardens, kitchen and targeted outings and events.
