Parkinson's Disease Fitness Class
The pandemic has affected many things, including our ability to socialize and exercise. Individuals with PD need to continue to move in the safety and comfort of their own home. This class will allow you to increase cardiovascular output safely, increase stretching and flexibility, and reduce fall potential, all from the comfort of your home. For those living with Parkinson’s, daily exercise IS your other dose of daily medication.

WHO SHOULD PARTICIPATE IN THIS CLASS?
This class is open to anyone at no charge! This class would be a good fit for anyone who wants low-impact physical exercise in a group setting with a certified LSVT therapist. If you are looking to improve balance and endurance or are potentially concerned about your physical fitness due to COVID or other pre-existing conditions, this would be a good class to attend.

WHO WILL BE LEADING THE CLASS?
Our team of neuro rehabilitation therapists will be leading the class. Our physical and occupational therapists are trained in neuro rehabilitation, as well as LSVT and CBIS certified.

WHAT EQUIPMENT DO I NEED?
No equipment is needed! Therapists will use common things around your home – a chair, can of soup, shopping bag, etc.
