On With Life Expands Clinical Leadership with Addition of Chief Medical Officer
As part of On With Life’s goal to deliver high-quality, coordinated medical care across all settings, Dr. Eric Dreibelbeis has been appointed chief medical officer. This new role will provide medical leadership for the organization, help build collaborative relationships with other providers in the community, and develop initiatives to enhance care for those served through On With Life’s various programs.
“Bringing on a chief medical officer has been a long-time goal of On With Life,” said CEO Jean Shelton. “Dr. Dreibelbeis has an impressive background in clinical leadership, medical education and quality improvement. We look forward to his leadership and to the positive impact he will have on our persons served, families, staff, and mission.”
Dr. Dreibelbeis has come back to his home state of Iowa after spending seven years in Alaska, where he most recently served as the chief medical officer at St. Elias Specialty Hospital in Anchorage. He is board certified in internal medicine and brings extensive experience in hospital medicine, medical oversight and committee leadership to On With Life.
